All I can say is that TIME FLIES! With all the hectic gift shopping and present wrapping out of the way, now it’s time for a delightful Christmas dinner. Of course, if you’re hosting, you must include appetizers, drinks, and the best prime rib ever (or roast duck, beef wellingtons, and glazed ham). Other side dishes and dessert can be left for guests to bring, so you won’t wear yourself out. Take on the easy Christmas menu to reduce clutter in the kitchen!
Sometimes, I get impatient with complicated recipes, so taking the easy route always works for me. Once you’re done prepping and putting your easy, 3 ingredient prime rib recipe in the oven, make your way to a slow-cooked ham, (optional), appetizers and drinks!

I’ve tried this prime rib just a few days ago and it’s perfectly cooked! With its medium rare texture, and juiciness, you might want to serve it on a hot plate. If you like it more well-done, just extend your oven time by 1/2 hour to an hour from the recipe time. But, I assure you, prime rib is at its best when it is medium to medium rare. Only 10 minutes to prep!

Once your prime rib is in the oven, you’d want to get this slow-cooked, glazed ham in the crockpot. This only takes 15 minutes to prep, with 3-step instructions. It’s quite wonderful how it comes out with its tender flare.

Talk about easy! Appetizers don’t always have to involve baking, or crockpot recipes. All you need for this simple, appetizing tree are red and green grapes, and whichever block of cheeses you like. Dice it up into little squares as shown, and serve. You can add a small piece of celery at the end, and herb sprigs for decoration.

When it comes to drinks, I like it when my guests can serve themselves. This Pomegranate-Champagne Punch is the ultimate cocktail. You can also have beer stacked in the ice chest, too. But, this drink is tasty for anyone. It has champagne, rum, pomegranate, lemon, sugar, water, and fresh mint leaves. Just the right balance for a smooth Christmas evening.
